Garden of Reflection

Nestled between our heritage listed Clock Tower and the ornate Peace Haven Mausoleum, the charming new Garden of Reflection is a tranquil and inviting memorial area thoughtfully designed by award winning Landscape Designers, Lisa Ellis Gardens, for peaceful contemplation and quiet remembrance.

A Unique Setting

With various memorial options available, the garden provides a unique setting for the interment of your loved one’s ashes, and the dedication of an enduring memorial.

Situated around a central reflecting pool and planted with a hand picked selection of shade-giving trees and flowering shrubs, the garden provides a cool sanctuary for families to escape the hustle and bustle, visit with loved ones, and relish the soothing atmosphere.

At the heart of this commemorative space stands a beautiful and emotive piece of sculptural art donated by the family of the late Leopoldine Mimovich OAM, a local artist whose bronze artworks are prized by museums and galleries alike.

A Rare Opportunity

Memorial positions are marked with a bronze plaque mounted on a bluestone ledger, and options are available to commemorate your loved one with a garden position, a commemorative park bench for the family to enjoy when visiting, or a tree memorial.

With space at a premium in the historic Boroondara Cemetery, the Garden of Reflection represents a rare opportunity to secure a position in one of Victoria’s most beloved garden cemeteries, and to establish a meaningful memorial for generations to come.
